Life and Executive Coaching Services

While therapy is about understanding and resolving the past or becoming healthier in the present, coaching is about helping people create a compelling tomorrow by becoming a better version of themselves today. Here, at Practical Alternatives, we take clients through the “Prometheus Process”, selecting the stories and systems needed to summon the self they want to see right now; awakening the drive that will enable them to become the hero of their story instead of its victim.

In Greek Mythology, Prometheus is best known for defying the Olympian gods by stealing fire from them and giving it to humanity in the form of technology, knowledge, and civilization. Our coaching program works to liberate clients from limiting paradigms, helping to implement the systems that will empower them to become more.  It will ignite the flames of change, serving to create the story of finding both power and purpose, using the science of peak performance and extraordinary living.

5 Core Principles of The Prometheus Process

  1. Identity:  Who are you? Who do you want to be in your story? Hero, Villain or Victim? What are your strengths or weaknesses? Who do you have to become to achieve your goals and create the life you want? We will examine these ideas via The Relevant Question Exercise.
  2. Imagination:  What’s your affirmative vision of the future? We explore these questions with the building of vision boards, using them to summon a personalized picture of success.
  3. Infrastructure:  How do you build the system that will give you the results you seek? What are the elements, emotionally, financially, spiritually, physically? What are the systems/paradigms/habits used to manage your resources? The science of peak performance and understanding the flow cycle frames the dialogue here.
  4. Intention:  What are the specific outcomes you are looking to create?   What’s the timetable? When are you scheduled (day to day) to take the steps towards completion? These ideas will be framed and organized using the Habit Change Calendar and the setting of a Sankalpa; an exercise used to align purpose and facilitate change.
  5. Initiative: What makes work meaningful, relevant and real to you? What’s your reason for being? What drives you every day? What’s the thing you love/hate the most? That may be what you are called to most? That may be what you are being called to serve.
